Community Events WINTER GREETINGS TO YOU! Dear Friends of People of the Heart ... As we arrive at the Season of Winter it is stunning to consider we've entered the year 2012. During our recent travel in Belize we spoke with Mayans who said 2012 was never meant to mean the end of the world. Rather it is the end of a calendar marking the era of a new dawn. Yes, change will occur and as we know, it has already begun! For our part, guidance is coming on how our community can be more actively engaged in positive change locally and globally. At People of the Heart we look to each other in this time of fresh beginnings and celebrate the inclusive spirit of community. You are inited to join us whenever you can. For 2012 we will study the book: A Lifetime of Peace: Essential Writings by and about Thich Nhat Hanh. The Braided Way Sangha Candlelight Meditation Circle meets on the third Saturday of each month, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
