Brother Hummingbird, a scruffy red fellow, is our Summer inspiration. He sits upon the deck railing, out of the rain, viewing the expanse of land at Crooked Kitty Ranch. For long stretches at a time the tiny winged one tilts his head left to right, ruffling neck feathers in anticipation, scanning for some bright flower to enjoy. His message is: Stop, look, and listen deeply to life in the present moment all around us... May we open our hearts wide and breathe in life's abundant beauty this Summer. Namaste, Rev.
